hey there, sorry for our spate of show cancellations as of late, most of them being the handiwork of that old scoundrel "wintry mix".  but anyway, we had the album mastered last week at west west side music, in tenafly, new jersey.  it is called "shape of a bird in transit" and will be available for purchase (or sweet-talking yourself into a free copy) in early april.

saturday's show at la boca was canceled at the last minute due a booking error.  our apologies to anyone who didn't get that news and went anyway.  we'll let you know when the show is rescheduled.  sorry again!

the new album is mixed!  it was actually mixed a couple of months ago but i guess no one told you.  now we're getting up the funds to get it mastered and pressed.  in other news, our song "i don't want to love you" recently appeared in the independent film the screwdriver, a pointed satire about a case of police brutality.  i (nate) saw it and loved it; if i worked at a video store, it would be one of my "picks".  it is a great film.  thanks to sal morales and redtape films for the inclusion!  on a related note, we're considering changing the band's name to pirates of the carribean II.
finally, due to a logistical problem we've had to withdraw from the show next saturday at the new haven library.  the problem isn't that we can't read, so please stop asking.

the album is going to be mixed during the last week of august.  then we will be playing some songs at chris (yes, that chris) and erica's nuptials in september.  congratulations, chris and erica!

yesterday we finished recording the new album.  we'll be mixing it sometime in august and then mastering it and duplicating it thereafter.  we'll tell you its name as soon as it gets one.

hey, long time no updates!  well, things are going very well here.  we have been playing a lot of shows and working on a new album that should be out by the end of the summer.  we'll let you know when we've set a release date for it.  also on the horizon, chris' previous band chair13 is holding a one-time reunion show in waterbury, connecticut on may 31.  details are on our performances page, come down and heckle him with the rest of us!

we taped an episode of bands on the road yesterday, and had a great time doing so.  bill and his television family are some of the friendliest and most professional people you could ever hope to work with, and we thank them.  you can check bandsontheroad.tv to see when the show will be broadcast in your area.
